It was late at night and I walked to my boyfriend’s house. (3 a.m. ish) His parents were away, but his two little sisters were asleep in the house. So they wouldn’t wake up to find me there, the two of us went outside in his backyard to “just talk” It was a clear, warm, August night and we sat together on a Sesame Street blanket (it happened to be nearby) Well, it led to something much more out there, and now everytime I see Big Bird, it reminds me of the time I crossed the bridge between childhood and adulthood. 🙂
