I have been hesitant about telling my story because I am a singer and fairly well known in the world of music, if not a big star to the public. But after seeing some of the stupid and infantile stories that have appeared here I figure mine can’t be that bad, and I will not give any details to reveal my identity.
At 19 I had taken all the music courses our local junior college offered and was taking lessons from a private voice teacher. I had been told I had quite a good voice but it needed development.
After our first session, Mr. X told me “You have a nice voice, but you are too shy, too inhibited. You need to let loose more.”
For our next two sessions he kept stressing “Relax, be more confident, don’t be afraid to let loose,” but I couldn’t seem to accomplish what he wanted. It was true I had always been very shy and not good at expressing myself, but I hadn’t known this showed in my singing.
Finally after our fourth session Mr. X came right up to me and said, “I know what is your trouble. You have never had the experience of love. Until you have the love experience you can never be a great singer. Here, let me show you,” and he grabbed me and bent me over in a very passionate kiss.
Then before I could protest he began fondling me and removing my clothing. I started out saying shyly “I don’t think we shuld do this,” but he kept on until he had me down to my bra and panties, at which time I said a little more strongly, “No, I don’t want to do this.” He said, “Yes you do, my dear, you want to very much,” and he pulled off my panties, laid me down, used his knee to push my legs apart, and proceeded to have sex with me. I had tried to resist but he was much stronger than I.
The sex was nothing but unpleasant. I screamed when he broke my maidenhead and I felt no pleasure at all from his thrusting. Then he sent a gush of semen into me, while I had no orgasm or any feeling of pleasure.
When he was through he said, “Now you are a woman who has known love. Now you can live.”
Instead of trying to think of something to say in reply, I drew my right hand back and then punched him as hard as I could, right in the nose.
I don’t know if I broke his nose, but a huge spurt of blood did come out, all over his nice silk shirt and nice tie and down onto his elegant slacks.
While he was trying to stop the flow with his handkerchief I said, “I don’t think we will have any more lessons, Mr. X, and if you have made me pregnant you will hear from my lawyer.” I pulled my clothes back on and left.
And you know, from then on I did sing much stronger and with more confidence. But I don’t think it was the sex from that bastard teacher that did it, it was the thrill of punching him in the nose. It was the first time I had ever hit anyone, and it gave me a feeling of power and that self confidence I had been lacking.
I went on to audition for a regional opera company and got a job in the chorus, then worked up to doing supporting roles and finally a leading role.
Then I auditioned for a major opera company — no, no names — and was accepted and since, as I said, have become quite well known, at least in music circles.
I am married to a man whose work is closely related to mine and we have two children. They are both his — I did not become pregnant from Mr. X.
So I do NOT recommend being raped as a way for a girl to get rid of her inhibitions. But it sure might help if you punch some guy out some time — some guy who deserves it.
