New Year’s Eve we were driving on the Southern State Parkway on Long Island. It was raining and we had a blow out on the left rear tire. We were just getting ready to go under a cememt bridge when we started to spin out of control. All I could think of is I hope it won’t hurt and damn, if I die, I will die a virgin. Surprisingly we did not hit anything and came to a stop on the other side of the cement bridge. We were able to drive to Larry’s parent’s home and went to the basement. Something we did on a regular basis where we did everything except intercourse. I told Larry that I almost died a virgin and we were going to take care of that matter right now. He had protection and it was a little painful but it was over so fast I didn’t suffer much. Practice makes perfect and we married a year later.
I consider myself a “born-again virgin” as we were divorced in ’84 and I have not made love since then. Eventually I will find the right man and have a wonderfull new relationship.
