During my pre-teen years, I knew absolutely nothing about sex. From the time that I was a toddler right through into my 30s my penis would get hard when there was any likelihood that anyone would see it — siblings, parents, friends, anyone. It was embarrassing in school change rooms, at summer camp, on sleepovers etc. and I always tried to hide it.

I liked going naked in the house when nobody was home, and I would always get an erection, about 4 inches long at the time and pointing straight up to the ceiling. I didn’t know why it got hard, but the tightness felt kind of good. I knew nothing about masturbation, so I wasn’t stroking it or anything.
One day when I was home alone and lying naked on my bed with my erect penis pointing towards my belly button, our small dog jumped up on the bed with me. He sniffed my stiffy and seemed quite interested. Then he started licking my penis, mostly where the loose skin attaches to the head (which was facing upwards when I was lying down). Wow, did this feel good!
My dog continued to lick my dick and in less than a minute, I got a funny feeling in my groin (funny nice, not funny ha ha). This certainly wasn’t pee, and I was a bit alarmed, but the feeling was so good that I stopped being concerned. My dog lapped up most of the white stuff and then jumped off the bed and left the room.
Later, I tried to repeat the experience, but I couldn’t get my dog interested at all. So I tried to simulate what he was doing by holding my erect penis with my left hand and rubbing the fingers of my right hand back and forth over the skin on the underside. It worked, but the skin got red and raw from the rubbing. Very painful! So I’d do this one day and then have to wait a couple of days for the abrasion to heal.
Eventually, I figured out how to wrap my right hand around the shaft of my penis and move the skin back and forth, a technique that I continue to use to this day, 56 years later.
There are many stories here about “the first time”. It’s embarrassing to admit that my first time was oral sex from a dog, and that I have fond memories of the experience, but that’s the truth.
