My friend dragged me to this party. I didn’t want to go.
Sometimes I wish I hadn’t. Well, I ran into my old crush
from high school. Eric was really drunk and so was I. He
asked me if I wanted to go upstairs. I said sure. By the
time we got up there we were both laughing pretty hard.
He’d brought a bottle of vodka up with us. He was still
drinking and getting drunker by the minute. He had me take
a swig and I almost died. It really burned. Anyway, he
locked the door and started kissing me. I was totally into
it. This guy hadn’t paid any attention to me in high school
and how he was ready to fuck me. I don’t remember much
after that. I was too drunk. I don’t recall feeling any
pain. Probably all of the alcohol. We fell asleep and I
woke up before him with an awful hangover. I left then. I
didn’t want to face him. I thought that he would have no
respect for me. I also figured that I would never see him
again. Not so. Two months later I found out I was
pregnant. Hailey was born 2 years ago this summer. Eric
didn’t marry me. He does take responsibility for his
daughter, though. All I have to say, folks, is use
protection and really know the person you’re sleeping with
or you might end up a single mom just like me.
