I had met a nice girl in my English class, and so
one day I decided to ask her out. She accepted, and we
went to see the movie, “Death Row” or something. We held
hands and talked all through the picture, much to the
annoyance of the people surrounding us. We went back to
her rotary-engine car, and we started talking about love.
It started snowing outside, so we got out and made snow
angels on the parking lot ground. She was getting cold,
so I wrapped my arms around her. We held each other a
long time, and then, on impulse, I kissed her. She pulled
away, no looking at me, and drove off, leaving me heart-
broken in the pouring snow.
That was my first kiss. It’s not sex, but it was a
first time for me. Sometimes a kiss is more than jut a kiss
for someone, so I regard ha night as the epiphany into
