Ever since my 12th birthday, I have worn a promise ring that represents virginity given to me by my grandmother. She always talked about the importance of purity before marriage. I shared the same values until 7 months ago… When I was a junior i met a senior named Michael. Michael was right behind me in the alphabet and sat next to me in speech class. He is the tall dark and handsome type, with dark brown hair and the body of a grecian god. I’m very shy so i never talked to him until we were partnered for a group speech. The project was due Monday and we procrastinated until friday. This meant that Michael and i would have to work on our project over the weekend so we exchanged numbers and got together on Saturday. We met at his house and started on the project. At first we were very awkward around each other until we found out we had something in common, our love for football. We were both fans of our high school football team. We were both planning on meeting our friends later that evening to go to the game, but after an afternoon of working together, we decided to go together. The school was 30 minutes away from his house, and he drove us. We were about 5 minutes away, when he suddenly turned off the street onto a wooded dirt road. Before i knew what was happening, neither of us had shirts on. Michael asked me the epic question of “are you sure this is what you want?’ and i surprised myself by saying yes. I climbed over to the drivers seat and we started going at it like rabbits. I cried out in pain when it finally happened, but decided to go at it again, this time in the back of his suburban. Needless to say, we were a little late to the football game….
