I was a tall, skinny boy (6′ 2″, 145 lbs. – turn sideways & disappear), a classic nerd, and didn’t have many dates in high school. I joined the Air Force right out of high school in 1964 at 17 and a half years old. Boot camp and tech school added another year to that and then I was posted to Osan AFB, Korea. At the time, one dollar was worth 420 won. I cruised a few bars and finally around 10 o’clock spotted a working girl that was my definition of cute. Alittle taller than the average and a bit over weight, but not fat. I remember she had a nice smile. I bought her a beer and we made the deal for all night.
