Her name was Elizabeth, but only her father called her that. We all called her Beth. Beth was one of those early bloomers, and she happened to live on my block, and she became my high school sweetheart.
It was New Years Eve 1969 incidently. A bunch of us always gathered at her house, and once again, it was the place to go on New Years Eve. We had messed around for some time, but for some reason, the fear of pregnancy always stopped us short of the real thing.
We were all running around, playing music loud, and for some reason, something happened, and the two of us wound up in her room alone together. We were staring at each other, and before I knew it, we were both completely naked. She slipped under the covers and I was right behind her. I slipped the meat in the package, and the next thing I know, we are rocking. It seemed like minutes, but I am sure looking back on it, it was only seconds before I exploded, but we must of both liked it a lot, because for the next three years, we did it non-stop in every location.
I have seen her a couple of times since I went off to college, and once since I was married with three kids. It is not the same as it was, and neither of us look as good as we did then, but she was quite a training ground for the others that followed, amen…
