I was in 1st year university but I was only 17. I’d had a boyfriend I messed around with for a few months but we never got very far before we broke up. In second semester I met a guy a couple of years older than me in a university society. He was the really outgoing and funny type, completely opposite to me, but we developed an attraction and made out at one of our club parties. A few weeks later we were having a big sleep over party and I guess we both were thinking the same thing about it. I got terribly drunk, kissed a few people (inc him), threw up, and then he came and suggested we go to bed in one of the tents. We did our best but I can hardly even remember it as we were so drunk! Nobody came but we were so careful, I took the morning-after pill the next day anyway. Everyone saw us go into the tent together and a girl even came in to get her sleeping bag out – a little awkward as we were using it at the time! Maybe we should have tried to have a relationship and some successful sober sex, but the next guy I was with was much more experienced and probably gave me a better ‘second first time’ than that guy would have. Not sure whether I should write another post…
