The summer after my first year of undergrad, I decided it was about time to have sex. I was pretty nervous about it… I had had plenty of prospectives, but I wasn’t ready. Well, one weekend over the summer a good friend of mine who had just got her degree invites me to spend the night at her parents’ house. She was house-sitting because they were away on a road trip. By midnight, we were both very drunk, and we went out to the pool in her backyard. Obviously, the water was freezing… and she had a hot tub. We got into the hot tub.
We were both in our swimsuits, but being drunk, we thought it was a great idea to get naked, because “we’re too close for this to be uncomfortable.” So here we are, naked in her parents’ hot tub, drunk, and five minutes later we’re going at it in her hot tub. It’s not easy to have sex in water, especially if its your first time… so we went inside and finished off in her bed (with our shirts still on!). To this day, we remain close friends… but we’ve agreed not to be sexually intimate again.
