It happened well over 20 years ago, but every year around St. Patrick’s Day, I think about it. My steady girlfriend, Kathleen McNamara (not her real last name) and I had been going together for nearly two years, and had done the usual petting routine whenever we were alone.
On this particular occasion, we had gone to the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Bay City, Michigan, and afterwards, we drove out of town into the country to a spot where we usually parked and nobody ever bothered us. It was a nice Sunday afternoon,and we started kissing and petting, and then things got sort of carried away. We had both wanted to have sex for a long time, but had never gone that far, but on that afternoon, Kathleen wanted me as much as I wanted her, and we got naked there in the front seat of the car, and we took each others virginity. God, it felt good! She had a wonderfully slim body and nice breasts, not overly large, and we just gave ourselves completely to each other. We must have been there an hour just enjoying each other’s bodies.
I remember it was chilly that day, only about 45 degrees, but we kept the car running and the heater going.We were plenty warm, and there was Irish music playing on the car radio. Ironically one of the songs playing was:”I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen.” I thought tomyself, she is really taking ME home to heaven.
Unfortunately, the McNamaras moved away from our neighborhood that Summer. They went out to California, where Kathleen’s Dad was offered a much better job. And although we wrote back and forth for awhile, we finally drifted apart. I never saw her again.
I had sex with several girls after that, and am now happily married and have two teenage daughters of my own, but I will always remember that St. Patruick’s Day in 1987. It was my first fuck, and just about the best I ever had.
