Hey my friend—so you are no hunk. Neither was I–but my problem was that I weighed less than 100 pounds in college.
There are women out there that are looking for a considerate person, who has prospects of earning a good living, and who are appreciative.
I didn’t meet my wife until I my career was underway (medical instumentation design engineer.) She is about as flashy as a Volvo 240 DL and is about as dependable and angst-free as one too—I couldn’t have found a more loveable wife if I had known what I was looking for. She wasn’t looking for an introverted nerd but she counts her blessings for marrying one. I have a wonderful friend, a reliable household partner and a delicious, generous courtisan.
My advice is to figure out what you have that are assets, to develop qualities (like consideration, etc.) that are developable, and to find out what your market segment is. You are no dummie. Just apply the smarts you applied to chemistry to the marriage market.

My first time? I was dating the woman who became my wife for 10 months when she kissed me. (Talk about a slow mover! I was shy and afraid of scaring her away) After a month of kissing (and not much else), I asked her if she was serious about me becaue I was serious about her and would she go to bed with me. She said, “Just like that?” I said we should get contraception going and plan a nice weekend away someplace to make an occassion of it. We planned the trip for the next several dates and then we went to a bed and breakfast for a four day weekend. Both of us were inept virgins but we had a great time bumbling through until we got the hang of it. What we were most thrilled about was getting a love partner at long last. I figure we have laid each other at least 8300 times since then (after deducting for illness and nights apart from each other.)
