It was with my best friend at the time, in February 2008, in this sort of large, vacant concrete room above a five star restaurant. You get up there through a secret stairwell, and at night it is beautiful because of the glow from lights outside. Three tubes of foberglass insulation packaged in tight plastic wrapping served as our bed. We were the same age and he had had one girl before me. He was nice and respectful and afraid of hurting me (even though I told him it would no matter what). I enjoyed myself very much. It wasn’t perfect, but everything I could ask for. Afterwards we cuddled and drank chocolate milk that I had brought. We ended up falling in love and having a beautiful love until the end of that year. We are presently friends, and I am still happy with the experience so (what feels like) long ago.
