I had met the wife (36) of an Army lt. colonel on this
Washington State fort. One day a friend of mine told me of
one time when she had asked him to awaken her at a certain
time. He knocked on her bedroom door. No answer. He
knocked again. No answer. Finally, he opened the door and
she was lying there stark naked. I thought about this one
night as I escorted her home from the officers’ club. I
left her in the front hall and walked toward my folks, house
down the street. Then I thought, “You fool. Take a chance.”
So I walked back into the house, found her in the hallway
and told her I didn’t say good night to her properly. Then
I kissed her French style (I had just learned this technik
from the maid of another officers’ wife) and she responded
warmly. Then I led her into the living room couch, gently
put her down and bingo. Just as I was about to climax, I
pulled out and gushed. She cried and cried. I left. This
developed to a continuing friendship, with the peak coming
when my father was sick. She suggested I stay with her as
my mother had enough to do. That night I was taking a bath
and she walked in her nightgown and pretended to be busy.
Then I toweled off and went to a double bed on the second-
floor backporch. She came out a few minutes later and asked
if everything was OK. I took her by the arm and asked her
to join me. Her last words were: “Please, don’t go so
fast.” Next morning, I went to her bedroom at the front of
the house, crawled in beside and made love again. Looking
back at this adventure, I wish I knew then what I know now.
