I wanted it to be romantic
I was very lucky to get her. She was very popular and I was, well, kind of a shy guy. The first day I asked her out I really didn’t expect a “yes” from her. But what can I say? Things turned out much better than I thought it would turn out.
My relationship with Kristian was really deep from the beginning. She was sensible, intelligent and had a great sense of humor. I was the quiet one. But I found one thing that made my whole life, my whole world turn around. That is the fact that Kristian loved me.
Our relationship were much more emotional than physical. We were really not in a hurry to have sex- both believed that sex can be a dangerous thing. I wanted the whole “first night” to be romantic. And so it was.
My parents were out for the evening and something in me just broke loose. I called Kristian and asked her to come over at 8:00pm. Then I got things into place. I arranged 45 candles in my room. Mr. Bough’s garden was rampaged- I needed lots of roses.
In my dad’s cabinet I found an old bottle of champaigne he won with some dumb competition. When the doorbell rang at 8:00pm everything was in place.
“Come in! I’m in my room!”
When Kristian entered my room music started (Young and in love-it was our song). I took her hand and led her to the little table and two chairs. I poured her some chapaine. It was so romantic.
We danced. We laughed. And then it happened. We started kissing and slowly, like two hipnotised lovers, started to undress. I layed her nude body on the bed of roses. Then I started kissing it all over.
I could see the uncertainty and excitement in her eyes. Then we made love. I went out of my way to make it the best night for Kristian. We did it over and over again.
I wanted it to be romantic. It was. But it was also the last time. My Kristian died in a car accident two weeks later. Since then I never dated anyone, because something of her will always remain in me.
