It’s fair to say I was a little older than most when I lost my virginity but I don’t care what people think because it was still absolutely awesome.
I’d gotten friendly (and seceretly fallen in love) with an Austrian girl via a penpal website and when she announced she was coming over to Britain for university I got really excited about the prospect of meeting her… Even though she was living a good two hours train journey away once a month I would go down and see her. Usually we’d go to the cinema, or around town during the day, then out for some drinks at night and I’d sleep on her floor until the next day when I’d set off back home on the train. Anyway after one of our nights out we ended up stumbling back to her university halls of residence hand in hand. I sat on the edge of her bed to take of my shoes and she came up behind me and whispered “Will you sleep with me?” Thinking she meant just in the same bed (although wishing she meant otherwise) I agreed. Then she kissed me. Keep in mind the only kisses we’d shared until this point were at the train station when I greeted and said goodbye to her and never lasted more than two seconds. This however was the real thing! At first it was tense and the only thing running through my mind was “Is this real?” but I soon settled into it and ended up on top of her on the bed, kissing each other really passionately now.
She eventually broke off the kiss, reached up to my ear again and in her beautiful Austrian accent she whispered “I want you to sleep with me” I didn’t even say anything because I got this really strange feeling of light-headedness, like I’d lost consciousness for a few seconds. Then I started moving my hands over her breasts squeezing them gently as I unbuttoned her dress.
What happened is essentially a private memory between me and the most beautiful girl I know. After we had finished sharing our first times she asked if I would be her boyfriend. I actually almost cried with happiness when she said that, even after what we had just been through it was still an incredible shock to me… it was as if everything I’d ever wanted was coming true all in one night!
Although the sex was very special and I know I’ll never forget it I think my fondest memory of that night is pressing my naked body against her back and wrapping my arms around her stomach, falling asleep knowing she was mine.
