I had been dating my boyfriend for about a year…and we had come as close as possible without actually “going all the way”. We had talked aobut it, joked about it, contemplated it in minute detail…and finally he just dared me to sneak out of my house and go for it.
So…at midnight of my birthday…I snuck out the window and into his car. He had champagne (don’t ask me how, he was just 16) and flowers, a sleeping bag and a GREEN condom…I think it was supposed to glow in the dark.
The sex was quick and really uneventful…but our relationship after that time really changed. We learned to explore one another, and to enjoy giving almost as recieving. He had a huge impact on my life…teaching me to free myself from the constraints that society often puts on us. I still think of his attitudes or ideas when I need creative inspiration.
Now…I grew up to be a responsible, healthy, role model, school teacher…but inside I am still a 15 year old girl that is embracing life and is not afraid to step out on a dare.
